EXPERIENCE & HISTORY
Mark Poirier has more than 35 years Experience as a Professional in the maritime sector, including New Yacht Construction, Interior Design & Construction, Yacht refit & Project Management, as well as a prior career as Yacht Master with MCA 3000 ton Master License..
Mark has successfully developed, built and marketed the flagship Yacht for a line of luxury yachts of the highest standards. He is well experienced and responsible for organizing and overseeing complete Yacht Construction projects from inception to delivery, including specification writing, systems design and equipment selection, architect and interior designer selection, contractual and statutory compliance. Consultancy for business development, marketing, brand development, technical consultancy, crew and yacht management. He has extensive experience as Owner’s representative in all aspects of yacht construction and ownership.
Recently, Shipyard Project Manager for a German owned luxury yacht Builder. Responsible for Building Steel & Alloy Motoryachts. Mark had responsiblity for over one hundred Employees and Subcontractors. Six years were also involved in managing fleet operations as well.

In the Owners behalf, he is Responsible for yacht aquisitions, purchase & sales, refit, operations management, crew and commercial management, according to each Owner’s requirements.
